The Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, has published today's figures. Malta has registered 0 new cases of COVID-19 after 1,978 swabs were done in the past 24 hours. 

The islands have registered 11 more recoveries, bringing the total recovery tally to 30,132 and the number of active cases to 33. Since the outbreak, Malta has recorded 30,585 cases and has performed 959,419 swab tests. Unfortunately, an 82-year-old passed away over the past 24 hours meaning the local death toll stands at 420. 

The post also noted that until yesterday, 16th June, 609,897 vaccine doses have been administered to various people on the islands. 346,576 of these were first doses while 274,321 people are now fully vaccinated.
