You may have heard of Dr Joseph Caruana, from the Department of Physics and Institute of Space Sciences & Astronomy, through his fight to save Dwejra's dark sky heritage. Well, apart from lecturing and doing other astrophysicist-y things, Joseph can take one hell of a photograph.

These stunning images captured from Dwejra are beyond breath-taking, and certainly do a lot to back his case for protecting the dark sky in the area!
