Take note! Transport Malta announces upcoming changes to bus routes and schedules
Changes will be taking place over the coming weeks

If you make use of public transport, Transport Malta’s latest announcement is for you – certain bus routes and frequencies are going to be adapted for more efficient travelling.

Here’s a list of all the upcoming changes and when to expect them:

1st December

Route 101 (Cirkewwa-Mgarr) will start to include Triq Qasam Barrani/Triq Edward Camilleri in Mellieha.

15th December

Route 47 (Mosta-Valletta) will increase in frequency on Monday-Saturday:

  • Service every 20 minutes between 5.30 – 9 AM
  • Service every 30 minutes between 9 AM – 7 PM

Route 90 (Zabbar/Fgura-Valletta) will increase in frequency and extend its operating hours:

  • Service every 20 minutes between 5.30 AM – 7 PM
  • Service every hour after 7 PM

11th January

Route 103 (Pembroke-Mosta) will start to include Burmarrad Business Park.

Date not yet specified

Route 80 (Birzebbuga-Valletta) will start to include the Qajjenza area, in both directions to and from Valletta.
