Take note! Malta Public Transport release special bus service for Triq il-Marsa road closure
This service will start from Monday 15th July.

Lyndsey Grima

Starting today, Monday, 15th July, a special bus service will be available to assist passengers affected by the Triq il-Marsa road closure, located behind the race course.

This service aims to provide a convenient alternative for commuters and will operate daily from 6.40 am to 8.10 pm, with buses running every 15 minutes.

The route will connect Marsa Park and Ride with Farrug roundabout, serving the following bus stops in both directions: Marsa Park and Ride, Qaddisin, Moro, Ottoman, Ceppuna, Ingieret, and Farrug. This coverage ensures that passengers have multiple boarding and alighting points along the route.

Importantly, the service is free of charge. However, passengers are required to tap their Tallinja card (no money will be deducted) or obtain a 0€ ticket. This process is essential for counting purposes and helps the operators manage the service efficiently.

This initiative aims to ensure smooth and hassle-free transportation for all affected passengers.

Will you be making use of this free service?
