Take note! Malta Airport announces border control checks for all passengers travelling from 1st to 6th December
Make sure to plan ahead and have your travel documents ready for inspection

Malta International Airport has made the announcement that between Sunday 1st December and Friday 6th December, both days included, government-mandated border control checks will be carried out for all passengers arriving in and departing from the airport.

These targeted controls are being implemented ahead of the 31st Ministerial Council of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), which will take place in Malta next week.

Departing and arriving passengers (both in the case of Schengen and non-Schengen destination and origin countries) are advised to have their travel documents ready for inspection, to ensure a smooth journey through the airport.

Passengers are advised to refer to Flight Information displays for the latest information on their flight, or if in need of any assistance, proceed to the MIA information desks located at Check-in or the Schengen Departures.

If you will be travelling through our airport on these days, make sure to plan ahead!

Will you be travelling next week?
