Gale force winds reaching up to force eight to nine are expected from Saturday onwards which is why the Gozo Highspeed have cancelled the majority of their trips for the coming days.

Tomorrow, Saturday, 6th January only a handful of trips will be made. The last trip from Valletta will depart at 9:45am and the last ferry will leave Mgarr at 10:45am.

However, no trips whatsoever will be made on either Sunday, 7th January or Monday, 8th January.

So far, the Gozo Channel ferry that crosses between Mgarr, Gozo and Cirkewwa, Malta is still set to operate but make sure to keep an eye out on their Facebook page just in case things change.
