Take note! Gozo Highspeed fast ferry cancels all trips indefinitely due to unfavourable sea conditions
The Gozo Channel will still operate as usual.

The Gozo Highspeed fast ferry has taken to social media to let its commuters know that all trips from now have all been cancelled until further notice.

This is due to the “unfavourable sea conditions” between Valletta, Malta and Mgarr, Gozo that would deem the trip to unsafe.

Strong winds are expected throughout the remaining week with the wind force predicted to reach Force seven on Sunday. Thus, it is quite unlikely that the fast ferry will be operating on its usual schedule anytime soon.

In the meantime, the Gozo Channel ferry between Cirkewwa, Malta and Mgarr, Gozo is still expected to operate on schedule.
