As tonight’s strong wind force is expected to reach Force Seven or higher, the Gozo Highspeed fast ferry have announced that they’re cancelling tonight’s trip due to ‘unfavourable sea conditions’.

The last departure from the Valletta Harbour will be at 4:45pm and the last trip from Mgarr, Harbour in Gozo will be at 5:45pm as otherwise it would be too unsafe to operate.

On Tuesday, 29th April, the scheduled ferry trips are expected to return back to normal.

In the meantime, the Gozo Channel ferry service from Mgarr, Gozo to Cirkewwa, Malta is expected to operate as usual for both today and tomorrow.

28th August 2023
