UPDATE 22nd October: While the Gozo Highspeed service resumed this morning, Valletta Ferry services has suspended its services today too, both to the Three Cities and Sliema, as the swell in the harbours persists.

Gozo Highspeed has announced the temporary cancellation of its ferry services on Monday, 21st October 2024, due to high swells in Valletta Port. The company, which operates high-speed passenger ferries between Malta and Gozo, made the announcement via social media, citing adverse weather conditions as the reason for the disruption.

Passengers are encouraged to follow their social media pages for updates on service resumption.

Additionally, Valletta Ferry Services has also suspended its Three Cities Ferry Service due to the same rough conditions in the harbour. They posted a notice advising customers that services are halted until further notice, and updates will be provided once conditions allow for safe navigation.

Both companies are prioritising passenger safety in response to the hazardous weather. Travellers who rely on these ferry services are advised to stay informed through social media channels and adjust their plans accordingly.

While the exact time of service resumption remains uncertain, both Gozo Highspeed and Valletta Ferry Services are committed to keeping customers updated as the situation develops.
