Air Malta has announced that all flights between Malta and Munich have been cancelled for Wednesday 7th February, 2024.

This includes flights KM306-KM307 and KM 308-KM309.

Such cancellation are a result of the strike by the Verdi Union which is affecting the Munich Airport Services.

Air Malta has stated that customers booked on these flights will be able to either rebook to travel on an alternative flight by contacting the Air Malta Customer Service Centre on 00356 21662211 or to receive a full ticket refund by emailing [email protected].

For any flights booked through a travel agent, customers should contact their travel agent who can submit a refund request on their behalf.

Munich will not be the only German airport effected as Hamburg, Berlin and Düsseldorf airports are also set to experience flight cancellations. However, there are no direct flights between Malta and the other airports.

Flights should return back to normal on Thursday 8th February, 2024.
