Take note! Extended ferry and lift services in Valletta for tonight’s Isle of MTV

If you plan on travelling to Isle of MTV from Gozo, Sliema or Bormla, read on!

Due to Isle of MTV, the massive music festival taking place tonight at the Floriana Granaries, extra trips will be added to the Fast Ferry schedule. Two extra ferries will leave Valletta (to Mgarr) at 00.45am and 1am, and two more will leave Mgarr (to Valletta) at 11.30pm and 01.45am.

The Harbour Ferry services in Valletta to and from Sliema and Bormla will also be extended till 1am, as well as the lift leading to the Upper Barrakka, which will also be in operation till 1am.

Festival goers are encouraged to make use of these services to avoid congestion on the roads surrounding Valletta and Floriana.
