Stunning! Local hiker captures breathtaking rainbow through waterfall at Rabat’s ‘Għar id-Dwieb’
Nature at its finest!

Local explorer Gregory Camenzuli was definitely in the right place at the right time while trekking through Għar id-Dwieb, on the outskirts of Rabat.

Following last weekend’s heavy rainfall, a rare waterfall had formed at the edge of the cliffs - a sight you don’t often see in Malta! But the sight took an even more breathtaking turn when Gregory managed to capture an incredible rainbow shining through the waterfall at that exact moment.

In a social media post, Gregory explained that this natural wonder was created by the reflection and refraction of sunlight through the water droplets, resulting in a truly mesmerising display of light and colour. Thanks to his quick reflexes, we all get to witness this magical scene through his lens!

Did you manage to capture any unusual photos thanks to last weekend's rain?
