This new scholastic year is already off to a great start, as post-secondary students return to live-learning and savour the on-campus life – but it’s about to get even better!
Let’s just say that history buffs attending the University of Malta (UoM) or the G.F. Abela Junior College (JC) are in for a treat…
Heritage Malta signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the UoM and JC allowing students of both institutes to enter all of its museums and sites (apart from the Hal Saflieni Hypogeum) for free.

Want to benefit from this offer?
All you have to do is present your eSIMS account on your mobile phone or in print at the entrance of your chosen Heritage Malta site or museum. Easy as pie.
But wait – there’s more!
This initiative also allows students and employees of Heritage Malta and the University of Malta to access the resources of both institutes. This includes libraries and equipment.

Mario Cutajar, Executive Director at Heritage Malta, said that this new incentive will further strengthen the agency’s resolve to “transform its museums from shrines of antiquity to centres of discussion and information”.
Time to get learning and exploring!
