‘Speechless!’ Gianluigi Buffon reacts to Hamrun's stunning chocolate sculpture in his honour

The goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon needs no introduction, having been bestowed the Serie A Goalkeeper of the Year a record twelve times, and being widely regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time.
His likeness in the form of a chocolate sculpture, made meticulously by Tiziano Cassar, wowed crowds at last Saturday’s chocolate festival in Hamrun, and also seems to have left the goalkeeper himself without words.
In a social media post alongside some great shots of the chocolate sculpture of him saving a goal, Gianluigi Buffon wrote ‘My friends from Malta have really outdone themselves! This time they left me speechless: a chocolate Buffon... who would have ever imagined it?’
He also had nothing but praise for the talented sculptor, saying ‘Special thanks to Tiziano Cassar for the extraordinary work. Congratulations, truly a masterpiece!’
