In the newly released 2024 passport index by Henley, Malta officially has the fifth best passport in the whole world.

This marks an improvement from last year where the Maltese passport ranked eighth, making this the highest ranking it has received in history.

One of the reasons why the Maltese passport got such a high ranking was because with it you can travel to a total of 190 countries without the need for a visa.

The Maltese passport shares this spot with Greece and Switzerland.

On the other hand, the passports that rank as the best in the world are France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore and Spain.

What do you make of this?
