Seven years of excellence!

Malta International Airport has once again made it to the top, earning recognition for its exceptional service quality within Europe’s 5 to 15 million passenger category. This marks the seventh consecutive year that the airport has been ranked among the best by Airports Council International!

Malta’s airport earned this prestigious ranking thanks to direct feedback from passengers through the Airport Service Quality survey, which evaluates over 360 airports worldwide. With nearly 9 million passengers passing through its gates last year, Malta International Airport has well and truly hit a milestone! Despite record traffic and ongoing upgrades, the airport has continued to deliver a smooth and enjoyable experience for countless travellers.

CEO Alan Borg expressed his gratitude to the airport’s dedicated team for consistently providing an excellent service that ensures passengers leave with a great first and last impression of Malta. Scoring an impressive 4.39 out of 5 in overall satisfaction, the airport stood out in key areas like cleanliness, staff courtesy, terminal ambiance, and wayfinding.

Big congratulations to everyone at Malta International Airport for continuing to set the bar high in European aviation!
