The Malta International Airport just took to its social media page to announce that the initial phase of roadworks on the airport ring road is almost complete. Starting tomorrow, the 16th of November, the airport's main entryway through the tunnel in Karwija Road will be accessible once again, ensuring smoother arrivals.

However, with progress comes a temporary change. The main exit will be inaccessible from the same date, and a designated route, outlined on the provided map, must be followed.

Traffic will be directed to the temporary exit leading to the airport roundabout. Given potential congestion, consider adding some extra time to your travel plans.

Plan ahead!

15th November 2023
