What a goal! In a display of skill and determination, former Birkirkara and Raiders Lija player Lexine Farrugia has become the sensation of the Italian U-19’s league.

Joining Sampdoria during the summer transfer window, the forward has left an indelible mark by scoring in five consecutive games.

In fact, Lexine’s latest triumph came in a thrilling four-goal draw against league leaders Roma, where she scored two impressive goals in the heart of the Italian capital.

Since her debut in November, she has consistently found the back of the net, showcasing her talent against formidable opponents such as Hellas Verona, Juventus, Inter, and San Marino.

Next up for Lexine and Sampdoria is an upcoming clash against Lazio. This presents an opportunity for this young star and her teammates to climb up the league standings, capitalising on Lexine’s remarkable goal-scoring form.

The future is bright, Lexine! Keep on scoring!
