This month, starting Friday 21st June, the artist Jo Dounis will be displaying her works at the exhibition space ‘Il-Kamra ta’ Fuq’ in Mqabba, in an exhibition titled ‘REVIXIT’ curated by Melanie Erixon.

The artist’s sculptural works delve into the realm of 3D, and are made from wood and mixed media elements. The wood used are pieces that she rescued from various locations, in some cases even from outside of Malta. Each sculpture tells the story of the wood’s rescue and its revival.
