Heads up, Malta! Clocks go back one hour on Sunday 26th October
From that day the sun will set just past 5pm!

Francesca Vella

It's already getting darker earlier, and soon, the clocks will be set back an hour, making evenings even shorter. As we approach the end of the first month of autumn 2025, we're less than two weeks away from the end of daylight saving time, which officially ends on Sunday 26th October.

On that day, both sunrise and sunset will happen an hour earlier than the day before, providing more morning light but shorter evenings - perfect opportunity to start some early morning jogs and have more cosy nights in.

This shift to what many call 'Winter Time' will last until 29th March 2026, when Daylight Saving Time returns and our clocks spring forward once again, just in time to welcome the early signs of summer!

Do you enjoy this shift to ‘Winter Time’?

13th October 2025
