Tomorrow, Anthony Delia will be kayaking non-stop from Ragusa in Sicily all the way to St Paul’s Bay, covering a distance of 94km, all in the name of charity. He will be taking on this challenge in aid of the SiGMA Foundation, Schools for Africa Malta Foundation and Smiling with Jerome, all of which support underprivileged communities.

The journey is expected to last 19 hours, starting at 1am between tonight and tomorrow morning, with an estimated arrival time at the beach near ‘Is-Simenta’ in St Paul’s Bay between 8pm and 10pm.

The local kayaker has an inspiring story, having only started kayaking a few years ago during the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year, he kayaked around the perimeter of Malta with a friend of his, raising funds for the SiGMA Foundation.

In a social media post counting down to tomorrow’s journey, Anthony Delia expressed gratitude for all the support he has received for this challenge, including help with his equipment and provision of a support boat service.

Wishing Anthony the best of luck for this challenge!
