Think vibrant summer party and The Ghaxaq Music Festival always comes to mind. This year, this festival is back, on the 27th and the 29th of July and it promises to be, yet another, unforgettable experience.

The festival is planned to be a community celebration in the name of great quality music. This year’s ace of cards has recently been released and the two superstars of the shows will be none other than the Grammy-nominated reggae pioneers, The Wailers, on the 27th of July, and the extraordinary Marco Masini on the 29th of July.

Together with The Wailers on the first day of the festival, Maltese talent will also take the stage including Mark Micallef Costa & Band and DJs Jonathan Gonzalez and MC Badboy, and DJ J JOY. Stefan will be in charge of hosting the night and taking the audience on a whirlwind of a musical adventure.

Day 2 will feature Marco Masino and his T’Innamorerai-30 Anni Insieme Finalissima Tour, together with Kurt Calleja and his band. Pierre Cordina is set to host and DJ Sue will close the night.

The Ghaxaq Music Festival has carved its niche in the local summer calendar. Year after year, the festival has served Malta with unique performers of great international repute such as Boney-M, Smokey and UB-40. Together with Maltese artists and a myriad of brilliant world famed tribute bands, the festival has a well-deserved reputation for an unassuming battery of concerts that never fails to deliver.

Happening bang in the village core, the Għaxaq Music Festival will surely create a buzzing crowd celebrating all that is wonderful and beautiful in the world of music.

Mark your calendars for an incredible night of music and memories!
