Prepare your autograph book! Mediterrane Film Festival brings film industry stars to Malta this month
The event will span over the 22nd till the 29th of June

The last week of June will see the second edition of the Mediterrane Film Festival taking place at the Grandmaster’s Palace in Valletta, bringing to Malta some big names in the industry.

Oscar-nominated writer-director Mike Leigh and Tim Miller, the director of ‘Deadpool’ and ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ will lead the pack, the former providing a masterclass in filmmaking.

Both the composer and casting director of the blockbuster ‘Avatar’ will be present, as well as Yorgos Mavropsaridis, editor of ‘The Favourite’, ‘Poor Things’ And ‘Kinds Of Kindness’ who will be giving a masterclass on the 27th of June at the Uccelliera in the Grand Master's Palace.

Nathan Crowley, a renowned production designer known primarily for his collaborations with director Christopher Nolan on iconic films such as 'The Prestige', 'The Dark Knight', 'Interstellar', 'Dunkirk' and 'Tenet', for which he seven Oscar nominations.

Other events forming part of the Mediterrane Film Festival include screening of several films over the weeks, including Yorgos Lanthimos' 'Kinds of Kindness', ‘The Count of Monte Cristo’ and several local productions.
