Poor pony! Civil Protection Malta rescue pony after he fell headfirst into a deep-water canal
This pony has had quite the eventful day…

Emma Galea

Earlier this morning, Civil Protection Malta came to the rescue when they received a phone call about a pony who was in distress.

The poor animal went through an electric fence, running across a field before falling down headfirst into a deep-water canal which was only 60cm wide.

Thanks to the service of the Civil Protection Malta, the pony was saved from a painful death after a meticulous rescue.

His legs were tied, and he was pulled up and was back and lying on the ground, only suffering from minor injuries

Get well soon little guy!
