Soul Food - Valletta

Soul Food in Valletta is at the top of our list and with good reason. If you love tasty and healthy food, this is the place for you. From buddha bowls to burgers, smoothies, salads and pastas, you can have it all! The menu is also clearly labelled with vegan and vegetarian items.

Balance Bowl - Gzira

Balance Bowl was another favourite restaurant listed by our followers. Located in Gzira, Balance Bowl offers a fusion of plant-based dining experience & unique vibes. It’s one of the few fully vegan restaurants in Malta! Their menu is super varied including one of their special dishes, the schnitzel!

FRONT – Munxar, Gozo

This one’s a top favourite located on our island island of Gozo. Although FRONT is not solely a vegan/vegetarian restaurant, it offers a variety of plant-based options including yummy burgers like the Halloumi burger & Beyond Meat burger. It also offers a vegan platter on the menu which looks delicious!

Gems Cafe Bistro – Mellieha

This one’s for when you’re visiting the northern side of Malta! Gems Cafe Bistro is perfect for a vegan breakfast or a quick snack such as their Falafel & Hummus Wrap or their Vegan Avocado & Onion Toastie!

L’enoteca - Rabat

If you’re vegan or vegetarian, it might be slightly challenging to enjoy a wine night. However, that’s where L'enoteca in Rabat comes in. Offering their Vegan Focaccia Platter, this includes everything that your heart desires when drinking wine such as figs, vegan mozzarella, vegan parmesan, grapes, truffle ragu, and others. Not to mention vegan wine!

Elephant Shoe – Valletta

This new kid on the block is a go-to if you’re vegan or vegetarian. Carefully labelled on its menu, their options are endless. From brunch options to lunch and tasty bowls, you can have it all!

Bohini – Mgarr

Last but not least, we have Bohini in Mgarr! Their goal is to provide an enjoyable and genuine dining experience to all with the aim of providing dishes that are fresh, hearty and simply unforgettable.
