It looks like we’ll be having a sunny weekend ahead. If you’re one of the lucky ones who will be enjoying a long weekend due to the public holiday tomorrow, then you’ll definitely want to make some beach plans!

The popular weather page Maltese Islands Weather has just released a list of all the recommended beaches and bays for today, Wednesday 28th June. So, if you’re thinking about an after-work dip, make sure to check the list here because it is constantly being updated. The list is based on the wind current and the number of jellyfish found in the sea.

The recommended beaches to visit today are Mellieha, St Paul’s Bay, St George’s Bay, Rinella Bay, Marsaskala, St. Thomas Bay, Ħofriet, Marsaxlokk, Pretty Bay, Wied iż-Żurrieq and Għar Lapsi in Malta and Daħlet Qorrot, Ħondoq ir-Rummien, Mġarr ix-Xini, Xlendi and Dwejra Inland Sea in Gozo.

It is advisable to avoid Marfa, Ramla l-Bir, Little Armier, Armier Bay, Imgiebah, Mistra Bay, Qawra, Bahar ic-Caghaq, Sliema, Fomm ir-Riħ, Ġnejna Bay, Għajn Tuffieħa, Golden Bay, Anchor Bay and Paradise Bay in Malta and Wied il-Għasri, Xwejni Bay, Qbajjar, Marsalforn, Ramla il-Hamra, San Blas Bay, and Dwejra in Gozo.
