One year apart! Photos of Gozo’s Gelmus Hill in 2023 and 2022 show how little rain has poured this month
What a dry October!

Two photos uploaded by the local weather page ‘Maltese Islands Weather’ truly depicts how dry this year’s October has been compared to last year.

The two shots show Gelmus Hill in Gozo in 2023 and the same exact hill in 2022.

The 2022 photo shows how Gelmus Hill is completely covered in green as significant rain had already fallen yet the 2023 photo shows Gelmus Hill completely dry with no green landscape whatsoever.

In fact, October 2023 has been Malta's driest month ever recorded this century.
