Oh no! Possible hailstorm hitting Malta tomorrow, and chance of showers on Carnival Monday
Keep an umbrella handy!

While February has recently been treating us to some early spring vibes, it seems the month is preparing to make a dramatic exit. Tomorrow, the weather is set to take a turn, with rain expected to roll in during the second half of the day. According to Maltese Islands Weather, the showers will be accompanied by thunder and the possibility of hail, making for quite a stormy end to the month!

These thundery showers are predicted to persist into the first half of Thursday. However, by the evening, strong winds are expected to clear the storm clouds, bringing a (temporary!) end to the unsettled weather.

This means that the skies should dry up by Friday, but there's still some uncertainty ahead for Carnival Monday and Tuesday. While it’s early to say for sure, Carnival goers might want to keep an eye on that forecast, as heavy showers could cause the cancellation of some celebrations, as has happened in the past – fingers crossed that won’t be necessary!

Are you looking forward to a stormy end to February?
