A blast from the past

Popeye Village was the location of the 1980 musical film production Popeye and has since then become one of the major tourist attractions on the Maltese Islands. The village was purposely built for the live-action feature film produced by Paramount Pictures and Walt Disney Productions, starring the late Robin Williams.
