It’s Christmas all over again with Shoreditch's thick, fluffy pancakes. The Kinder pancake is the most famous, but - to the country's delight - they have more recently adapted the latest craze of Nutella biscuits, incorporating them into their own signature pancake.

Mdina's much loved Fontanella Tea Garden is synonymous with cake, that also comes with a pretty fantastic view. Their most famous treat is their chocolate cake, which is truly devilish, but their other desserts are definitely on par too.

The treats from Malta’s latest ultimate cheat-day spot Shakes n Bakes are unlimited, but possibly the most intriguing of the lot are the Kinder pastizzi. Filled with chocolate and sprinkled with icing sugar (and yet more chocolate sauce), Kinder pastizzi are the polar opposite of detoxing... and we can't resist!
