No rain! Malta forecasts a dry weekend and lead up to Halloween next week
The lack of rain is being attributed to the high atmospheric pressure over the Mediterranean region

Francesca Vella

Those hoping for a stormy week to set the scene for Halloween might end up being disappointed, as the Maltese Islands Weather Forecast has predicted a dry weekend and week ahead!

Temperatures are expected to remain at a fairly steady average hovering between 23 and 24 degrees with clouds appearing on most days and mild to moderate winds that are set to peak between Sunday to Monday, reaching forces 4-5.

Weather pages have been attributing the recent lack of rain over the islands to high atmospheric pressure currently over the Mediterranean region. High pressure systems promote descending air, which generally inhibits cloud formation and precipitation, so those waiting for the rain will probably have to wait a bit longer!

Are you hoping for rainy weather?
