A smoother journey home awaits!

Francesca Vella

Passengers flying into Malta from Schengen countries can now enjoy a smoother and more direct route to baggage reclaim, thanks to the newly launched Schengen Arrivals Corridor at Malta International Airport (MIA). Note that this does not include Ireland and the United Kingdom, which are not part of the Schengen agreement.

This upgraded passage forms part of MIA’s ongoing terminal expansion project, designed to enhance passenger experience and streamline airport operations. With the first phase of expansion nearing completion, the airport is gearing up for further exciting developments aimed at improving its facilities.

Stay tuned for more updates as Malta International Airport continues to evolve!
