New park! Bormla Grove unveiled as latest green space

Work has started on a new park, Bormla Grove, that will serve as an open space for nearby communities.

Covering an area of 53,000 square metres, Bormla Grove will include a range of facilities such as a mountain-biking network suitable for different levels, dedicated pet areas, and children’s play areas.

Some 64 new trees and 173 shrubs new trees will be planted, over and above the plants that are already on site.

Works are being carried out by Project Green and the project is estimated to cost around €1.6 million, partly financed by EU funds.
