Mild autumn! Dry and relatively warm weather expected to persist for Malta’s first weekend of November
This year's Halloween will be a warm one!

Despite typically being the wettest month in Malta, the start of this November doesn’t seem to be promising any of the rain awaited by many. According to Maltese Islands Weather, conditions from the end of October through the first weekend of November are expected to be partly cloudy to mostly sunny, with rain chances not exceeding 25% throughout the week.

Daytime temperatures are forecasted to remain consistent with last week, ranging from a high of 25°C to a low of 23°C – still two degrees above the typical November average of 21°C. However, if you’re eager for cooler weather, don’t lose hope just yet as November is just beginning!

The temperatures at night, on the other hand, do seem to be slowly dipping, forecast to reach a minimum of 17 degrees on Sunday night – precisely the low that’s expected at this time of the year.

One notable change that can be observed is the significant drop in the UV index, which is currently hovering between 3 and 4. If you spent your weekend soaking up the sun, you’ll notice that you needed less sunblock than you did a couple of months ago, when the index peaked at a whopping 11.

Are you enjoying this unseasonal warmth?
