Triq Ghajn Tuffieha in Mgarr is operating with one carriageway at the moment as Enemalta is carrying out a project that will see the upgrading of the electrical distribution system in the area.

“The upgrading project of the electrical distribution system in the vicinity of Mgarr is at an advanced stage. The works include the excavation of an electricity trench to place an 11Kv cable along Ghajn Tuffieha Road, Mgarr," an Enemalta statement said.

“Due to the works which are being carried out by Enemalta’s contractor, part of the road is closed and traffic is being diverted to one carriageway. Enemalta is doing its utmost to finish the works needed, in the earliest possible timeframe,” they concluded, apologizing for any inconvenience caused by the works.
