Excitement is building as the day has arrived – tonight Malta will face Finland for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, playing at the National Stadium at Ta’ Qali.

With thousands expected to attend, traffic arrangements will be put in place to ensure that supporters make their way to the match smoothly.

All vehicles entering Ta’ Qali, from both entry points at Triq Durumblat in Mosta, as well as from Attard, will be instructed to follow the traffic flow along Vjal l-Istadium Nazzjonali and Triq San Gakbu – the anti-clockwise direction as shown on the map provided.

The road that leads to the Basketball Pavilion will be closed, and Triq il-Buqana will be made one way – with vehicles only allowed to exit Ta’ Qali through that road.

Those coming by car are encouraged to park in the large parking area where the Farmers Market takes place on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, which will also be the drop-off point for taxis. Only pedestrians will be allowed access to the last portion of Triq San Gakbu leading to the stadium.

Although kick-off is at 8.45 PM, supporters are advised to arrive early to avoid missing any of the excitement!

Will you be cheering from the stands?
