The 16-year-old Maltese footballer, Lexine Farrugia has made Malta very proud after officially joining the Seria A Italian Football team, Sampdoria Women.

“New season, new colors”, she captioned a photo of her in her new kit.

“Really happy to have joined Sampdoria Women, a big thanks goes to everyone who has been part of my journey”

“A dream came true”, she continued.

Lexine also plays with Malta’s U17 national team and even scored two goals at the UEFA U17 Championship against Azerbaijan.

The future is sure looking extremely bright for Lexine!
