Malta turns green! Satellite image captures post-rain transformation
Looking for a silver lining to the recent stormy weather?

Heavy rainfall in Malta often brings to mind traffic jams and flooded streets, but a stunning satellite image offers a different perspective entirely. Posted by the page Malta from Space and shared by the local weather page It-Temp Madwarna, the image, taken on January 16th, showcases Malta and Gozo looking especially lush and green following this week’s downpours.

It’s a refreshing reminder that, while rain can be inconvenient at times, it plays a crucial role in nurturing the environment we call home. This rare glimpse from above reveals the islands' transformation after the rain - a small silver lining to the cloudy skies currently over the island.

Are you looking forward to a hike in the greenery after the storms pass?
