Malta will be introducing an orange travel list to control the infection rate from international travel, Deputy PM and Health Minister Chris Fearne announced. This will come into effect from Friday at midnight, with the countries on the list to be announced later on today.

Deputy PM Fearne also noted that the countries on this orange list will need to present a negative certificate upon arrival in Malta, done not more than 72 hours before travelling. The list will be revised weekly and random tests will be done at the airport as well.
