It took some outstanding saves from Gibraltar custodian Dayley Coleing to prevent the hosts from achieving a more marked victory despite the national team's dominant performance.

After exerting pressure for 58 minutes, Malta eventually scored, and what a goal it was! Joseph Mbong intercepted a brief clearance and unleashed a thunderous shot that left the Gibraltar custodian with no chance.

Well done, Joseph Mbong!
