The much-awaited day that countless music-listeners worldwide check and share their Spotify stats is finally here! Taking a look at the local scene, Maltese artists have begun to share the results from their Spotify Wrapped - here are some of the showstoppers spotted on social media so far!

Shaun Farrugia

Shaun Farrugia has broken through the sound barrier with an incredible 1.98 million listeners spread across 181 countries around the world. Shaun’s fans have listened to 1.03 million hours of his music – that translates to over 117 years’ worth of Shaun’s tracks!

Luke Chappell

Luke Chappell, the X Factor semi-finalist, has also managed to bring in an impressive number of streams, reaching 1.36 million, despite not having released any new music this year. He’s made a particular hit in the United States, where the largest proportion of his listeners are from!

AIDAN

AIDAN also managed to hit the million mark in streams, clocking 1.51 million streams in a whopping 164 countries! Earlier this year he released his single ‘Sorry’, for which he self-directed a music video, which has reached almost 190K views in less than 2 months.

It’s still early days as Spotify Wrapped just rolled in a few hours ago, so keep your eyes peeled for more exciting results from more local music producers in the coming days!
