A recent article published to the UK Times talks all about Gozo and its undeniable beauty and charm!

The article titled ‘Why you should get to know Gozo, Malta’s charming little sister’ was written by Isobel Irvine and is basically a short guide too all British travellers urging them to visit this gem in the Mediterranean.

Starting off strong the writer explains how Gozo is “criminally overlooked” as “it retains an unspoilt character, partly down to being accessible only by sea”.

The article goes on to mention all the many landmarks that one should explore on the island. These included the ancient Citadel, along the prehistoric Ggantija Temples and Victoria’s Baroque St George Basilica.

One cannot really talk about Gozo without also mentioning Comino, which is only a short boat ride away.

“Cut adrift in the channel between Gozo and Malta, tiny Comino Island is a car free paradise for bird watchers, snorkellers and walkers”, the article explained.

The article gave a shout out to many loved local restaurants, bars and eateries including Xerri il-Bukkett in Qala, the Gleneagles bar in Mgarr, Cardamom in Victoria, Ta’ Rikardu at Citadella and the ‘Tal-Massar’ winery in Gharb.
