The statistics on travel through Malta International Airport are out, showing that, with a combined market share of just over 50%, Italy, the United Kingdom and Germany continue to be the highest on the leaderboard when it comes to travel to and from Malta, with France and Poland coming in fourth and fifth place respectively.

Malta International Airport also announced that passenger traffic grew by 8.7% in October, compared with the same month last year, as passenger volumes exceeded the 800,000 milestone for the first time, with a whopping total of 838,393 movements!

As the number of travelers passing through Malta Airport continues to rise, ongoing investments are being made to enhance the airport facilities. This commitment ensures that the airport maintains the high standards it has consistently upheld, earning the prestigious title of 'Best Airport in Europe' for five consecutive years - 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022.
