The young Maltese tennis superstar Francesca Curmi has just added another incredible achievement to her list.

She has made the quarterfinals at the Women’s Tennis Association 60k tournament currently being held in Slovakia.

Francesca beat Tena Lucas from Croatia with a score of 6-2 6-4

The talented athlete will now take Kristina Mladenovic from France in the hope of reaching the semi-finals.

If Francesca takes it all the way, the prize money for such a tournament is $60,000, an impressive prize!
