Putting Malta on the arm-wrestling map!

Four local arm-wrestlers—Brian Muscat, Daniel Tabone, Kersten Mercieca, and Antoine Graham—made history for Malta on the international arm-wrestling scene by winning seven medals at the Sicily Island Trophy tournament over the weekend.

Brian secured two gold medals in the 100kg amateur category (both left and right arm), while Daniel earned silver in the +100kg amateur category (left arm). Kersten triumphed with gold in the 90kg pro category (right arm), and Antoine claimed gold in the 100kg pro category. Antoine also won the overall gold, with Kersten taking home silver.

The excitement didn’t end there! Italian president Claudio Rizza welcomed Antoine, Brian, Daniel, Kersten, and Joseph Rapa into the Italian arm-wrestling family, where they will now represent Italy on the international stage.

Congratulations Team Malta!
