Let's go to the beach! ALL Maltese beaches are marked safe for swimming today
Sunny weekend ahead so it looks like summer’s not over yet!

It’s the first weekend of October and although, normally, this month is the definition of rainy weather, it looks like we’ll be having a super sunny weekend!

Thankfully, the sunny weather also comes bearing good news. According to Maltese Islands Weather, all of Malta’s beaches have been deemed safe to swim in today.

The page safely recommends 38 beaches around Malta and Gozo where you can enjoy a dip...which might possibly be the last dip of the year if October starts acting like it should!

From Little Armier, Mellieħa Bay, Imgiebaħ and Ġnejna in the North of Malta to Wied iż-Żurrieq, St Thomas Bay, Ħofriet and Marsaskala in the South, it’s time to put on your swimsuit and enjoy some time in the sun this weekend. Don’t forget your favourite beaches in Gozo such as Ramla il-Ħamra and Daħlet Qorrot!

The list is based on which beaches are likely going to be free from jellyfish and rough currents.

It might change throughout the day so make sure to keep an eye out for what beaches are marked as safe or not through here.
