It will be a relief to passengers travelling between Sliema Ferries and Bugibba at night to learn that the N212 Night Route will now run every day rather than just on Fridays and Saturdays. Buses will operate every 30 minutes; the first bus from Bugibba to Sliema Ferries will depart at 23:50 and last until 01:20; the first bus from Sliema Ferries to Bugibba will depart at 23:10 and stay until 00:40.

The N11 Night Route, which connects Cirkewwa and St. Julian's during the night, will now run every 30 minutes on Fridays and Saturdays. Cirkewwa to St. Julian's departures will start at 23:05 and end at 02:05 (local time). The first departure from St. Julian's in the direction of Cirkewwa will leave at 00:55 and the final departure will leave at 03:05.

The Malta Public Transport also reminded the public that Night Routes, just like Day and Special Services, are covered by the Free Public Transport program. To benefit from free transport, passengers must possess a valid, personalised Tallinja Card and tap it against the ticket machine each time they board the bus. Without Tallinja Cards, passengers must buy their tickets at the bus stop.
