Keep your umbrellas ready! Possible unstable weather to hit Malta on the 8th December
A storm is also predicted for Saturday.

Today Malta and Gozo woke up to rain showers after quite a few days of sunny weather.

However, local weather pages are expecting this unstable weather to return even strong during Malta’s next public holiday, Friday, 8th December.

'Aggornament ta’ Temp' are predicting that a system of low pressure will brew over Malta bringing unstable weather with it. On Friday afternoon, cold air will enter Malta and will be met with the warm air of the sea which will cause unstable weather during the rest of the night.

“There’s a huge possibility that on the 8th December we will have the first rain. However, the possibility is still 55% so there is no certainty yet”.

Hopefully, the weather will remain stable enough for the traditional 8th December feast festivities not to get cancelled.

“On Saturday there is high chance of a storm instead of simply rain”, the page continued. Nonetheless, “rain is predicted for Saturday and Sunday”.
