Is winter already over? Malta braces for mixed weather conditions and temperatures up to 19°C this week
It looks like we can put our coats away already!

This week’s weather promises a mix of pleasant and challenging conditions, so keeping an umbrella and a jacket on hand is a good idea.

According to popular Facebook page Maltese Islands Weather, the first few days will be mainly fine, accompanied by a fresh breeze. Temperatures are expected to hover between 17°C and 19°C, providing mild daytime conditions that are ideal for outdoor activities.

However, Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th will bring a noticeable increase in wind, reaching Force 5-6. These stronger gusts might make it feel chillier, so layers are recommended if you're heading out. Despite the breezy conditions, rain isn’t anticipated midweek, offering some respite before the weekend’s shift in weather patterns.

While from Monday 6th to Wednesday 8th, we’re looking at sunny conditions, towards the end of the week, the weather will take a cloudier turn. Saturday 11th is forecasted to bring Force 6-7 winds, creating blustery conditions that could impact outdoor plans.

Rain is expected to accompany the gusts, making for a wet and windy end to the week. The temperatures will remain steady, but the real-feel temperature could drop as low as 7°C during this period, so it’s advisable to dress warmly and prepare for damp conditions.

Overall, this week offers a mix of fine days, brisk winds, and rainy moments, making it essential to stay prepared for changing conditions.

Keep an eye on daily updates for any shifts in the forecast.
