Is it finally happening? Colder weather expected in Malta and Gozo by mid-November
It’s been a long summer!

Even though we’re over a week into November, it still feels like it is summer right here in Gozo and Malta. Barely any rain fell throughout October or November so far and the temperatures have remained higher than average.

Yet it finally looks like things might be turning…

A post uploaded to social media by the local weather page ‘Temp Madwarna’, explains that snow has finally started falling over the Alps as can be seen from the satellite photo taken by NASA.

This possibly means that cold air will continue travelling south to Europe and hopefully cold temperatures reach us by the second half of November which is next week.

“This also means more unstable weather from the one we had this year”, the page continued.

Other local weather pages such as ‘Maltese Islands Weather’ have been reporting a similar forecast.

“These colder currents should reach us towards mid-month. This is a hint that the second half of November may bring us more seasonal temperatures and more widespread instability”, the page expressed.

They're even predicting some isolated rain showers for the coming weekend.

In fact, certain 10-day weather forecasts are reporting that the temperature might even reach 17°C on the 18th November.
